Bleeding at 10 weeks

Hi all, I'm 10 weeks and started some light bleeding on Saturday (after having sex so wasn't too worried) however it's still going now. Pretty light, just when I wipe and a little on my pad, but I do have that dull, achy period feeling so not looking good. If this is a miscarriage is it likely to get heavier and more painful, or is it possible to miscarry with very little blood?

Can you get your GP to refer you to the EPU? It could be nothing, but it could mean something is wrong. The only way to know is with a scan.

I had a MMC with bleeding/spotting throughout and had to have surgery. I've had lots of spotting and bleeding with this pregnancy and everything is great and baby is healthy. It really can go either way. Good luck.

Thank you both. I ended up having a scan in the epu which just showed an empty sac measuring 4 weeks, when I should be 10. Still waiting to miscarry and they won't do anything to help it along in case my dates are wrong and something could still develop - I'm definitely not 6 weeks out though.
