I've never had anything like this. I can't poop properly. I have needed to go since 7am, the poop is so low I can see if if I bend over (I'm so sorry I know) but it won't come out. I've tried drinking water and orange juice and eating veg and fruit but I'm in agony. The pressure between my anus and vagina is so bad I havnt even be able to get dressed today. What can I do/take I'm in agony

(27 weeks of btw)

Glad you got through it, I had never experienced it until pregnancy, not as bad as gallstones but I cried more from the constipation.

Get some glycerine suppositories and Movicol in for next time!

Plenty fruit, veg, beans, porridge and fluids until then Wink

Had one episode which was similar with DD1. Ended up squatting which opens up the pelvis and loosens everything (similar to the feet on stool [no pun intended] position but better). On the movicol this pregnancy and much better

Congratulations on your safe delivery GrinFlowers (totally sympathise, it's GRIM!)

I did squats and hip shakes first. I basically did everything that was suggested.
Haha! I'm annoyed it's wasted my day!
What did you do this bank holiday?
"Oooh I spent all of Saturday trying to get a poo out!"

I feel your pain! My constipation fot really bad about 4/5 months. I could eat fruit, veg made me feel sick, I mostly wanted Domino's and balls of buffalo mozzarella. I was in tears one morning on the loo and finally, the problem came out and blocked up the loo and left me bleeding Blush I was conviced childbirth wouldn't be that bad and tbh it wasn't far off! I upped my intake of Fybogel and that definitely helped. Remember: some laxatives are safe in pregnancy so see your doctor.

I found Fybogel and kiwis were the magic combination to keep things moving. I was so blocked up on a couple of occasions I seriously felt like the skin on my stomach was going to split open and nearly took myself off to A&E.

Daily kiwi is the best thing I have found (except I don't like them Hmm )
