Bit of a long story so I'll try and keep it concise!

6 weeks ago I had mmc at 12week scan. Medical management which took few days to work. Stopped bleeding after 2 weeks.

4 weeks after mc I had a positive pregnancy test. 2 days later I started spotting then heavy bleeding. Scan showed no sign of pregnancy but a small clot remained(then had negative test). Heavy bleeding for 3 days which stopped for 2 days then spotting since (in total 2 weeks). Now I keep getting cramp type pains and a brownish discharge which looks like it's stopped then starts again but looks greenish/beige. I'm just worrying that I'm still getting pain after 2 weeks, even sore if I stretch getting in the car, worse in the evening. I'm worried I may have an infection but won't be able to get a GP appt til after the bank holiday weekend.

Has anyone else ever experienced anything similar? Should I just get a GP appointment next week?

Hi penguins, I am so sorry for your loss. Bleeding after my MMC went on for ages on and off, maybe about 6 weeks in total until I passed a final clot (and this was after surgical management). It's pretty unusual but can happen. I did have a few scans during this time though to check everything was ok so do speak to your GP or EPU. Hugs in the meantime xxx

Thanks for your reply, actually feeling a bit better as the weekend has gone on. Feeling relieved and hoping my body behaves and my cycle settles down soon!

It took a long time for my body to settle down after my mmc. However, I would say if you are getting green tinged discharge and in pain then there is a chance you have an infection.

If you're still in pain and getting odd coloured discharge please see your gp.

Thanks Kitty, I had some pain when I tried to run after my 4 year old today, otherwise just the odd twinge. Will probably see my GP this week to rule out an infection.
