I'm 8+5 (or 9 if going by my dates) weeks today, and my symptoms have disappeared. Up until today I've been really sick (to the point that I was about to go to gp for medication), and exhausted.

Today I've had only the odd bout of nausea, I've managed to eat and drink well and I've had lots more energy. Normally my sickness gets worse in the evening but the opposite has happened.

I had a scan on Monday (due to bleeding - now stopped) and everything was fine. I've had 3 previous mc.

Is this normal? I'm super anxious.

Mine have come and gone a lot this pregnancy, and I had absolutely zero symptoms with my son! The closer you get to 12 weeks, the more your symptoms will ease. And also, if the worst had happened, the symptoms wouldn't just stop flat like that, so if you only saw bubba the other day and all was OK I'm sure everything is fine still. I had an early loss back in December so I know how worrying it is when you're expecting again, fingers crossed everything is OK xxx

First of all congratulations. Im about 10 weeks pregnant. I had about a week where I had no symptoms and I really started to panic but I had a scan last week and all seemed well. If you're really worried go to a walk in centre or see your GP. Alternatively you could take regular pregnancy tests to ease your mind. However if you have still been ill it seems your symptoms haven't completely disappeared. Try not to worry (easy said than done I know)

My symptoms disappeared completely at about 8 weeks. It was literally overnight. I was incredibly worried, but everything was fine at my scan at just over 13 weeks x

Thanks all. With dd I was consistently ill until week 17, but I guess every pregnancy is different.

My symptoms went away at around 7/8 weeks and then they came back about a week later with a vengeance. . I'm now 38+1 and all has been well so far.

My symptoms have gone away for a few days at a time this whole pregnancy, but they always come back. If you are still feeling sick, I would assume you're just having a few days respite and they'll be back again soon.

I know how stressful it is but with my MMC I woke up one morning and felt absolutely fine, completely back to normal, combined with a sense of 'just knowing' something was wrong. Give it a few days and if you're still worried could you go back to the EPU next Tuesday and say you've had more bleeding?

Worriedscaredbutstrongish · 28/04/2016 13:21

With my first pregnancy I had the same. So scary but almost wish I'd relished it because my god they came back. Now 7.5 with my second and i more sick, just been prescribed with antiemetic. You know your body, get advice if you're worried

I had the same thing. I remember googling it and finding out that the placenta starts doing more from about 8-9 weeks which apparently stops some of the side effects of the HCG hormones (i.e. pregnancy symptoms!). My symptoms returned on and off after that up until about 12 weeks and then they tailed off completely.

I'm sure everything is absolutely fine although I'm currently 22 weeks and still worrying about one thing or another....!

SouthDownsSunshine · 28/04/2016 18:51

The symptoms are back today! Not as strong as before, but very much there, thankfully.
