So I'm 35+2 weeks pregnant and when the midwife started measuring me she said I'm measuring 'slightly bigger' but on my growth scans I've had (due to my first and second babies being very small and premature) this baby seems to be measuring fine on the 50th centile. When I had my 34 week check up with my midwife (I was actually 33+5 and would have turned 34 weeks that Saturday) and I was already measuring 35cm already. She didn't seem too bothered. Does this mean I could be further along than they thought? If you calculate my EDD by last period it comes out as 16/05/16 but by scan it's 28/05/16.
Just don't get why I'm measuring bigger than usually. I'm due another appointment this Thursday my 36 week one ( although I'll be 35+5)

That way of measuring is considered so out of date and inaccurate now I don't know why she did it.

1cm either way is nothing, as well. Go by your scans, you'll go into labour when bubba is cooked!

Scan dates are usually the most accurate. The tummy measurements are always a bit off

I wouldn't look anything into it. I'm 28 weeks with DC2 and my bump currently measures 36weeks! Growth scans put him in the 50th percentile so not a giant baby but all depends on their position, amount of fluid etc...

They're not the slightest bit concerned that I'm being stretched like a giant balloon!
