Please come and tell me your children's birth weights

Am due dc3 later this year and would like to know other people's birth weights. I know this will have no influence over what mine will be but might reassure me....
DC1 was 7 1/2lb
DC2 was 10 1/2lb
I'm just hoping that it's possible to have a smaller baby after a big one
So did yours get bigger each time?

Mine all got bigger

5Ib 2oz - 3 weeks early
5Ib 4oz - 4 weeks early
7Ib 2oz -2weeks early
7Ib 5 oz - 6 days early

All three of mine were 7 lb 2. I didn't actually give birth to them so can't say if it got easier or not.

Gosh I'm not sure I remember.

The third one was the lightest though. Think all between 7lbs and 8 lbs....

DD born 40+16 8lb 2oz
DS born 40+1 11lb 7oz

DS1 5lb11 39+1
DS2 5lb3 35+5
DS3 5lb14 37+5

If they'd all been born at the same gestation, DS2 would have been the biggest and DS1 the smallest. But if DS2 had been left in much longer he'd probably have died.

DD was 8lb 8oz. I thought she'd be bigger given my and DH's birth weights of over 9lb each. Currently expecting dc2. Wonder what this one will be!

And currently 35 weeks with an estimated weight of 7-8lb Mine got bigger until number 3 then smaller after that. Try not to worry I'm sure all will be fine.

Currently 36+4 with DS2.....I didn't realise so many 2nd babies were the biggest DS1 was 6lb 11oz at 40+5 and was still a forceps delivery!

Friend had a... 9-10lbr? 2 yrs after a 12 lbr. The smaller baby was the only C-section.

Dc1 - 6lb 14 (39+5)
Dc2 - 6lb 5 1/2 (38+3)
Dc3 - 8lb 7 (39)

7lb 1oz born on due date
9lb 5.5oz born at 41 weeks
9lb 0.5oz born at 37 weeks
8lb 4oz Born at 39 weeks

Third birth was much easier and quicker compared to the first two. Fourth was only three contractions!

DD1 8lb 3oz (40+4)
DD2 7lb 1oz (39)
DD3 8lb 5oz (40+2)
DS1 8lb 5oz (41)

You'll be fine. I think ease of birth is more closely related to mother's weight and general fitness than size of baby - up to appoint obviously

I haven't had another..

No2 weighed 8 oz bigger than no 1 (both were small 6lb'ers though)

I think it's probably true that they do get bigger in size!

So both small.

DD1 is 12 next week and now taller than me.

My DD was 9 weeks prem so not really useful to your question, however my friends first DD was 11lb (ouch!) and her second DD was 8.5lb, hope that makes you feel better x
