Please come and tell me your children's birth weights

Am due dc3 later this year and would like to know other people's birth weights. I know this will have no influence over what mine will be but might reassure me....
DC1 was 7 1/2lb
DC2 was 10 1/2lb
I'm just hoping that it's possible to have a smaller baby after a big one
So did yours get bigger each time?

Dd1 was 8lb 2 at 40+1
Twins were 6lb 2 and 7lb 7 at 37 weeks.

Dread to think what dts would have been had he been a singleton born at 40+ weeks!

Dd1 was 7lb3oz at 38+4.
Dd2 was 7lb13oz at 41+0.

Mine definitely got bigger, 2lb 12oz for baby 1 and 7lb 8oz for baby 2. (Baby 2 did have 7 weeks extra growing time though.) If it helps, I think predicting one pregnancy from the last is a fairly inexact science. My first baby was born at 32/40 by urgent c section because he was coming and breech. No 2 had no intention of going anywhere fast and arrived by elective c section at 39+5.

Ds1, 6ib 11oz at almost 42 weeks.
Ds2, 9ib at 40+5.
Ds3, 6ib 13 at 38 weeks.
Ds4, 5ib 15 at 34 weeks.

So mine did get lighter after ds2, but the dates they arrived were different. Ds4 would probably have been quite a fair weight had he gone to the same gestation as ds2.

DD 8'6 (11 days over)
Ds 7'7 (1 day over)

I've never heard of the second one being the biggest theory, seems to be working for some, I really really hope that's me too

My DC2 was over 10lbs but DC3 was 7lbs 14oz.

BUT I was the first of three and the biggest! DC2 was the smallest.

So I wouldn't worry too much. It probably won't be bigger than your Dc2!

Mine were 3kgs and 3.6kg

But I'm.dc4 for my mum and dc5 was smaller, if that helps.

Thesun - I went over with my first two as well so mine are quite similar to yours, I hope my next one is a littleun too.

See I should have just asked mumsnet instead of the midwife, she scared me telling me they would only get bigger, I feel so much better already.

Dc1 7lb 9oz (11 days overdue)
Dc2 9lb 9oz (5 days overdue)
Dc3 7lb 2.5oz (3.5 weeks early)

So dc3 may well have been equally as large as dc2 had he gone to term. My 5ft nothing mum went up a lb each time with us: sis 8lb, me 9lb 1 oz, brother 10lb 1oz

I should say I found dc2 a much easier delicery than dc1. Mum also says her deliveries were easier with me and my brother.

They got me in a panic during my pregnancy with dd3 as she was consistently down the bottom of the growth chart on the scans and they said they'd expect her to be bigger than my last. Rubbish!

DC1: 7lb 3oz (10 days early)
DC2: 8lb 6oz (15 days late)
DC3: 7lb 5oz (3 weeks early)

DS1: 8.4
DS:2 7.10

First baby ten days overdue. Second 7 days early so I imagine they would be the same weight if both born on due date

DS 7lb 7oz (5d early)

2nd DC due in 6 weeks, eek - only way to find out

first was 40+2 weight 6.12
2nd 40+10 weight 8.4

5lb 8oz at 38+0

8lb 4oz then 8lb 15oz so just average weight here.

My sister had a baby at 8lb 1oz then one at 6lb 10oz.

And my good friend had them get a pound smaller pretty much exactly every baby she had. She started with an 11+pounder though. The next one was 10lb, then 9, then 8, then a tiny 7lber!

Oh my dc1 and 2 were very similar to yours but dc3 ended up smaller!

The 1st two were overdue and ds3 was induced a couple of weeks early though
