First pregnancy

I'm about 10 weeks pregnant it's my first and I'm only 21 I've been having pains and discomfort in my belly and this morning i had a funny turn and nearly collapsed I went and saw someone today where they said I would be scanned but I wasnt and they just said my iron levels are low I have my first midwife tomorrow but I just want to know my babies okay and I don't know how to go about it :(

I don't have any advice but I have had the same. I am only 8+2 but have been having cramping pains and was out the other day and almost collapsed.

Do you have the number for the epu you could possibly ring for advice? Or have you got your midwifes number?

This is my 3rd so you'd think I'd be more helpful!

I've got no numbers I don't even know who my midwife is or what an epu is no one's really helped at all my moms trying her best to help me but everything is so different from when she had me to what it's like now

Ring NHS 111 they will advise you of your Early pregnancy unit, it's just a specialist department that deal with pregnancy in the early stages. I Each hospitals different but they should offer you an early pregnancy scan to check baby if you have pain. Try not to worry, I was 21 when I had my first it can be very scary but it may just be as simple as growing pains

If you have your first midwife appointment tomorrow explain what happened and how nervous you are. They should be able to stick the doppler on your belly and hear babies heartbeat at 10 weeks
