Having been told I was obese! by the midwife when I was 9 weeks pregnant (I am a size 14 5' 6'' and overweight and I know i am overweight) I tried not to put any extra weight on I am now 27 weeks and I still weigh the same, the baby is fine and correct size, I have lost bodyfat as I can get in to normal before pregnancy non stretch clothes and do them up! I was just wondering how much the baby and everything weighs at this stage so I can see how much I have lost iyswim.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Often by changing to healthy eating suring pregnancy, you lose weight but baby gains does well.
I think Zita West says 2kgs for first half of pregnancy and 9kgs for 2nd half as in desired gain.

I've also lost bodyfat although not overweight I was a little erm flabby, now my rings fall off my fingers and I,ve only put on 2kgs (I'm 30 wks) and that was over xmas!
I think on average you could say between 2-5 kgs at this stage
Best thing is when you give birth When I had my 1st I was lighter the day after I had him than I had been before conceiving him!

Yes I am looking forward to seeing the difference after I have him but I tend to gain weight when breastfeeding, as this is my 4th it has accumulated a bit!

I have tried to cut out cakes biscuits etc but I have been helped by having no appetite at all and my portion size has reduced a lot, I have never felt like this previously but I am not complaining!!

Cutting out the booze helps too!

Sorry, didn't mean that to sound like an instruction - just meant that compared to the amount I normally drink, I must be consuming considerably less calories now I am teetotal
