Morning ladies. This is my 2nd pregnancy, I had morning sickness with the 1st but nothing like this!!! Literally in the morning & after a big meal..... This time I'm getting up in the middle of the night to be sick, being sick from the minute I open my eyes in the morning until afternoon, then before I go to bed! Can't keep food or water down until late afternoon! 7 weeks yesterday,, have been being sick since 5 weeks,, last week it started to get really bad!!! Any reccomendations?! How to ease it a bit, or let nature take its course?!! Thank you!X

Go and see your GP if its that bad. You don't have to suffer, there are safe medications now that can help you. And if what they give you doesn't work, go back and get them to try another one.

Definitely go to the doctor. Not being able to keep water down isn't normal morning sickness. Try to keep hydrated, ice pops tinned fruit and coca cola worked best for me. Also rest as much as possible. Eat small bits of food, crackers and toast can be easier. For some reason the food that is 'bad' for you seems to stay down, crisps. I'm 36 weeks and only just starting to be able to keep veg down!
Be kind to yourself, it does get easier but you are likely to be in the most difficult time. The hypermeisis support thread has been a lifesaver so come and join us.

Yes OP, please do see your GP, you don't have to just grin and bear it. You can try looking on the Pregnancy Sickness Support website for advice and information too. And do join us on Lucinda's hyperemesis support thread!
