Baby engaged!

Morning!

Just over a week ago I suddenly had terrible pain down below to the point it made me walk like a 90 year old lady all crouched over Shock. The pain settled a bit so I thought nothing of it...I had a midwife appointment a few days later and she told me baby was engaged which is what's causing the pressure, she said she's likely to move and then engage again nearer the time. I'm currently 32 + 3, the pressure is still there 9 days on, has anyone else had experiences of this and did the baby move and move back again or just stay there? TIA SmileX

Hi, my DD was engaged from 32 weeks and stayed there until I went into labour at 40+5.

Hi Dixie, thanks for your reply. Luckily I've only got a couple of weeks left at work so I can just relax on the sofa but am still hoping she moves and moves back later as its quite uncomfortable x

Yup I was engaged at 33 weeks she was still there at 41+5 when I was induced!
