Clear nub?

Am i right in thinking the sticky up thing is the nub? And nub theory wpuld suggest boy?

I think its if its a certain angle (ie point towards tummy) then it's boy, if it points down then girl? In your pic its pointing straight up so I wouldn't like to guess! I never knew about nub theory until after I had mine, but when I looked back at the scans they were all there and accurate according to the theory!

That is indeed a boy nub, the stacking which gives it the upwards angle. So I would say a boy :D

Thank you. Scan lady said she would put bets on it being a boy. Think dp would be over moon to have a boy after two girls!

I didn't until I looked on in-gender site, have you put your scan on there? The ladies are really good with nub guesses. Until I looked on there I just assumed they both had kind of a line and girls were flat and boy was a line that pointed up, had no idea about the stacking etc. I put my scan on there this pregnancy I got a clean sweep of girl guesses from the nub, I found out at 16 weeks she is a girl (after 4 boys) so maybe give that site a go if you haven't already, pretty sure you will get boy guesses on there too. Congratulations :)

I would say boy as well but after I put mine on two different nub guessing forums and they all said girl and it is a boy! So I think you are better just to wait for your twenty week scan and see.

I got a little carried away with nub researching!! My 12 week scan shows a really clear 'not' nub with stacking and a slight angle up, quite similar to yours. 20 week scan said girl

Realise this post hasn't been active for a little while, but wondered if you guys could see a clear nub on our scan? I thought you could but I'm new to reading up about the nub theory so I could be wrong. Any views on boy or girl?

Hi not sure if I'm too late to comment on this, apparently I have stacking on my nub but I've also been told it's part of the leg imaged. I have researched stacked nubs and realised mine is on a downwards slope to the spine? Can someone help??
