It means you are pregnant. Congratulations!

angel123456 · 07/04/2016 11:57

Really? I just want 100% because apparently some times they can mean negative? Thank you for your reply Smile

Definitely pregnant! That's not even that faint. Congratulations!

As long as it appeared within the timeframe then it's positive and you're pregnant! Congratulations!

The false positives tend to be lines which only the person taking the test can see i.e nothing there or only appeared after 10 minutes.

angel123456 · 07/04/2016 12:03

I got it with in like a minute and a half :)

angel123456 · 07/04/2016 12:10

Can you get a result that fast it has been two weeks today?

OP posts:
seafoodeatit · 07/04/2016 12:17

Results can start to show in a matter of seconds! A minute and a half is probably around the average amount of time it takes, it would have shown up faster if you'd been a bit further along.

Also I would suggest not re-testing - people get themselves in a state worrying over lines but a line is a line and different tests have different amounts of dye.

angel123456 · 07/04/2016 12:19

I have just taken another one and it's shown up negativeSad I'm so stuck

OP posts:
TheGoodEnoughWife · 07/04/2016 12:19

Same type?

TheGoodEnoughWife · 07/04/2016 12:20

Weaker wee? First morning wee stronger - that may be why?

angel123456 · 07/04/2016 12:21

The first one was a one step test and I did that with my first wee of the day and I've just done a first response and its come back negative?

OP posts:
angel123456 · 07/04/2016 12:25

So now I'm very confused Hmm

OP posts:
TheGoodEnoughWife · 07/04/2016 12:29

Not even a faint line?

angel123456 · 07/04/2016 12:30

Nope not anything?

Artioo2 · 07/04/2016 12:39

If you got a positive on two tests reading them within the time frame, the overwhelming liklihood is you're pregnant. A false positive is extremely unlikely if you follow the instructions. Testing again later the same day is not a good idea, because the concentration of the pregnancy hormone in your wee will be weaker as the day goes on, giving a false negative.

angel123456 · 07/04/2016 12:41

Thanks I only got a positive on one test and it was faint that my only worry.

OP posts:
Artioo2 · 07/04/2016 12:44

It's still a positive - a line is a line, it doesn't matter how light it is. I could only see my first positive by squinting sideways at it and taking it unawares, and I'm 29 weeks now. :)

angel123456 · 07/04/2016 12:47

Wow glad there is something like this for people to ask for advice ect I'd be going crazy right now if not Smile

If I were you, I'd do another test tomorrow. I've had tests that look like the photos you posted but they were actually dye runs rather than positive lines. The second line tends to be an equal distance from the left hand side of the test window as the control line is from the right hand side of the window, if that makes sense! Of course, this may well not be the case with your test but I'd try again tomorrow and see what happens. Good luck Flowers

FirstTimeInForever · 07/04/2016 23:09

I've just reopened your first photo (I couldn't open it just now for some reason) and actually, your second line does look an equal distance so it looks positive to me! Flowers
