Recommendations for black work maternity trousers?

I bought a cheapo pair last pregnancy and regretted it - thick nylon material that went bobbly. Can anyone please recommend decent quality black work trousers - preferably from online shop that doesn't make you pay postage for returns (if that's not asking too much?)!

Try New Look. You can order a few pairs, get them sent to store, try them on in store and then return what's no good there and then.

I just got a nice pair from Next - under bump and very comfy.

Mine are from asda so far so good

i got some from gap that are fairly fitted and cropped style which i love (over bump waistband) Gap isn't too cheap, but if you sign up to their offers they are always having 30% off offers (i think they have 30% off for next 12 hours if you get on there quick!)
They don't stock maternity in store but you can return to a store.
H&M do chinos as well for under £30 which are good for work - again you can return in store.

Debenhams (red herring) over bump work trousers.
Wore them through my first pregnancy, they washed well and I'm now wearing them in pregnancy number two. They are super comfy as well!

Vertbaudet. Returns aren't free but the price is good and I've loved my black work trousers from them..

I got a lovely pair from Next, they have washed well, I started wearing them at 15 weeks and am 35 weeks now.

Isabella Oliver. Hands down best maternity clothes around. Only available online and free returns.

Love my jojo Mama bebe ones - actually looked like normal trousers but with comfy over the bump stretchy bit

Pagetta · 07/04/2016 09:26

i've just ordered some chinos from verbaudet and it says they DO now offer free returns - and free delivery if over £49 spent!

beemay · 07/04/2016 21:04

Glad Verbaudet have changed their policy, thanks for the tip off!

Avoid mothercare ones! Awful material and cut, sizing all over the place and so so uncomfortable. Good riddance!
