Dental advice?

I'm 22w 2d and seeing the dentist today, truth be told, I'm terrified of them and I also have a huge phobia of needles/sharp objects (even bad when it comes to blood tests). I've had quite a few bad experiences before and even changed dentists a few times, now I can barely get through a check up. I am due to have fillings and teeth pulled over the next few weeks, but from previous experience, I have a feeling I wont be able to go through either of them. Not sure what to do? I know that dental pain can become worse when pregnant but without sedation or some kind of medication, I'm worried I'd just be wasting their time. >.
