How far along am I? Confused,

I had a BFP last night. From the date of my last period ( 8th March )
That would put me at exactly 4 weeks.

But, me and DP hadn't slept together for over a month & when we did it was the 19th March. So tht would put me at 2.3 weeks, but that's too early to get a positive isn't it?

But I couldn't of gotten pregnant on the 8th!

The first two weeks of your pregnancy are before you ovulate. So if you had sex on 19 March, then you must have ovulated around that date. I got my BFP at 10 days past ovulation, so you definitely aren't too early. Congratulations.

Pregnancy is dated from the last period as thats the only certain thing. With a standard cycle of 28 days you would ovulate around 14 days after this, so in your case, 22nd or thereabouts. Sperm can live for up to 5 ish days, so if you had sex on 19th sperm woukd have been lying about waiting for the egg on 22nd!
