Rash on bump?

I developed a rash which looked a bit like measles on my bump (19 weeks preg) a couple of days ago. It has pretty much died away now but I am still a bit mottled and a bit worried about it. Has anyone had anything similar?

I have had that, I got it a few times after swimming and think the chlorine must have caused it. Also after putting on Sanctuary body cream.

I haven't got any medical experience but I had a rash when pg and when I mentioned it to my mw she sent me for blod tests. She was concerned about my liver apparently. It was all fine but maybe you should ask your midwife about it?

does it itch? I have developed one all over my bump in the last 2 days which doesn't seem related to heat or putting anything on it, but it doesn't itch....I always thought that it was itching you needed to watch out for in case of (and I won't be able to spell this) obstetric cholestasis. Anyhow I am going to mention it to the midwife on Monday just in case - I'd ask a doctor/midwide if I were you just in case. Specially if you're worrying about it.

Could it be hives? Have you put anything diffrent on it? Gotten a new top or dress?

i get it too unless you itch really bad on your palms and soles of your feet then it could mean that there is something wrong with your liver. the spots are something like POLPPS or something which is harmless and is just the skin changing. better than stretchmarks i say!
