Mine: Doreen and Ruby.
DH's: Jane and Violet.

My daughter has inherited both a first and middle name from that list... I wasn't brave enough to go for Doreen (though Dora was briefly considered) as it felt much more dated than classic.

Patricia and Moira (nn Molly)

YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut · 22/03/2016 14:50

Elizabeth and Robina.

I suspect Robina is not a name likely to make a comeback! It's in the same vein as other slightly odd feminisations of male names: my mother once knew a very elderly lady from the Western Isles called Donaldina!

DH's grandmothers were called Joan and Ida. Again, I'm not sure Ida is one we are likely to hear much of in the future!
