Is this a sign on impending labour????

My bloody nipples are agony!

It feels like someone keeps sneeking up and putting nipple clamps on them, giving them a good yank the taking them off again. Then a while later they come back and do it again...

I've looked a right sight today, walking along with a HUGE belly rubbing my norks!

I've never had this as a sign before so please tell me it is.....

can't have him before 10pm anyway, dh will still be at work....can it be by 11pm instaed

i don't know but hope so, i am eagerly awaiting the announcements form your thread could just be your big bouncy belly rubbing on your boobs though

Nipps/norks aren't so big that they'd rub TBH, they're big but not that big. Its literally the pointy out bits of my nipps that hurt.

twiddle them (but not too much or you may nt have time)

Don't be silly by thanking me for remembering. I'm glad you're feeling better now, I imagine getting through the due date would be a huge hurdle for anyone.
I hope 2007 brings a new mini MoM for you....I'm sure it will.

I was just going to suggest that your sore nips sound like a positive sign, and that you start some of the other 'rumoured' ways to induce labour..

then I realised you were the poster who made me lol recently...

the words 'wanger' and 'blunt knife' came to mind, so I'll keep my suggestions to myself!

Ditto the nipple thingy (twiddling) arghhhhhhhhhh, the thought of it at the mo, makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

Still here.

Braxtons are getting more pianful but thats all it is. Just painful Bh's.

4days until my EDD, I will be stunned if this baby arrives early.

I can't rememeber them doing this with ds2+3, possibly ds1 but my boobs are leaking!

This has got to be sign....surely!!!

Found this on a breastfeeding website...

"A few days before you deliver, your nipples may begin to leak colostrum, a thin, yellow, milky fluid containing immunoglobins that protect your baby and your breast against infection. If you do experience leakage, gently pat the fluid back into the nipple."

Also... on "What To Expect When You?re Expecting? A Foal" - (this is a real website - how bizarre does that sound, as if the mare will be browsing the internet!)
"As the mare gets closer to foaling, her nipples will thicken, hang down lower, and begin to develop a thick, waxy material. When the nipples ?wax,? it is a fairly reliable indicator that the foal will be born within the next day or so."

Are your nips 'waxing' LTH?
