Chicken pox

My older DC's class has chicken pox going round. I'm 8 months pregnant. I had it at 11 which would normally mean that I am immune so all good.

Except that lots of my family members have caught it more than once. Anyone who came in to contact with me the last time, or who cared for my cousins etc when they had it as kids.

Should I be worried?

You could get a blood test to see if you have immunity

I would speak to your GP for advice.

Contact your community midwife. She will probably tell you to not worry as you have had it previously, but they can contact the lab that did your booking bloods and double check your immunity just to put your mind at rest.

It should be written in your handheld notes from your booking bloods if you are immune or not
