Hi all. I have just found out I am pregnant. I am currently waiting for surgery to have a uterine polyp removed. I believed you me chance of conceiving with a polyp were slim to none! But now I am worrying it will affect me being able to have a full and healthy pregnancy. My doctors can't give me an appointment for 3 weeks and the midwife will not be contacting me for 6 weeks! Any advise xxx

As far as I know uterine polyps are uneventful and 99% benign and very small in comparison to how big a baby will get. They are often only removed as can cause annoying bleeding and heavy periods x

Baby40, I know its an old post but can you please update me about the outcome of that polyp? Did it cause any issues to your pregnancy? Im also waiting for it to be removed (3 month long) and wondered if its worth to TTC till then.
