Hi all

My last period was 22/10 till 26/10.
I experienced spotting on 9/11 just for the day. Not in my knickers just wen I wiped.

I done the cheap strip tests last night 3pack one came up a faint One a visible second line and the third no line, then about a hour ago I done a clear blue digital and it came up not pregnant any ideas
i done frer response negative

Went Drs several time through November/ December weekly, they said they would send me for scan but never did in the end they remained negative Dr said he suspected it to be an early miscarriage so it was left it at that and he suggested Ijust keep doing tests.

Dr last tested 22/12/2015 test negative

I left it at that still no period through out this whole time
First week of February I did a test positive and several tests since positive drs confirmed pregnancy via urine test

I was told by Dr the midwife would arrange emergency scan midwife said no they won't send me a scan to see how far I am even though the Dr expressed the need to know the length of pregnancy

I was sent my scan date on 28Th February for me to get a scan on 22nd March long time to wait really considering nobody has a clue how far I am or if it is the same pregnancy from November or a new one

I was just wondering if anybody has experienced this or can offer any advice romcan give me some sort of idea of how far I could be - probably not but worth asking :)

Thanks in advance :)

Sorry the op I just copied and pasted from my post from November instead of explaining it

Sorry for the mix up the negative texts are from November
Tests were positive in the November then within that week the tests were all negative

Then December 22nd test was negative

I didn't test again till first week of February then tests have been positive since then

Ah OK, makes sense now. No period since November is weird but looks like you conceived in Jan or Feb and so far you are probably still pregnant. Only 2 weeks to the scan, or if you can afford private maybe that would put your mind at rest. Congratulations Flowers

Well to put my mind at ease I have still been testing weekly all positive so I might just wait till scan although we can afford to do private scan I'm thinking from comments I'm probably in first trimester probably near the end of it by time scan comes along

Thank you and I'll update as soon as I find out

Why did the Drs assume you'd had a miscarriage? And then not arrange any follow up. I think they've let you down here.
Just one thing I wanted to say, a previous poster talked about signs that would have shown you were pregnant (nausea, frequent urination etc). I had absolutely NO pregnancy symptoms really until i started feeling movements. I only knew I was pregnant because I was closely tracking my periods and tested when it was due.

Have you had your scan OP?

Mummysboy2014 · 24/03/2016 00:23

Hi

I do apologise for the delay I didn't check my emails for replies

I agree I didn't understand why I wasn't checked or sent for scans or nothing as I had to explain Tuesday (22/03) when I had my scan the sonographer was abit narky she replied it's normal procedure for them not to send for scans to check out how far my pregnancy was or what what pregnancy it was

On a positive note
I had my first scan Tuesday (22/03) I'm 10 weeks 5 days now they said its a new pregnancy and I had conceived after the miscarriage

All seems well with baby very active kicking and moving non stop throughout scan :)
