I was doing a bit of shopping in town earlier and i got this unbelivable pain down one side of my stomach like a strong stich. I had to stop dead in the street and it died down. Is this a braxton hicks?

My BH were more of a tightening all over my womb, and a feeling I needed to wee!! But they may be different for others. I have had a stitch-like pain and MW said it could have been stretching, or SPD.

my bh felt like a tightening all over my stomach and it felt very hard. It sounds like a stitch or a pulled muscle. I get a similar pain when I turn over in bed.

Mine - which I had from about four months with first pg - hurt like hell! Everyone said 'oh, you'll tell the difference between BH and labour pains' but IME labour pains were the same contractions getting more, ahem, intense.

I shall stop before I bore you stupid about SPD, littlerach, but do get it checked out if you suspect it may be.
