Reasonable Maternity Wear on the High Street

Am getting to the point of looking into maternity clothes. Was going to order from Old Navy till I realised they don't deliver to Uk.
I am a nurse so wear my uniform 5 days out of 7 so I need a decent pair of black maternity trousers and a few weekend bits.
Maybe I am a skinflint but I resent paying £30 for a pair of pants I'll wear for 6 months.
Was going for a mooch round town this afternoon and was wondering if there is anywhere that has reasonably priced mat clothes.

the best jeans i had were gap maternity - under bump with a big elasticated strip you could pull over if you wanted. - so comfy - and reasonably priced. only prob is you need an american friend / someone visiting the states to send them over - or ebay??

top shop is worth a look. But think on you will wear them solidly for 6 months you will probably wear them out so £30 not such a bad deal.

I thought that over the bump were most comfy. They had to be pried away from me after I had DD.

Whichever retailer you go with, I have found that the trousers with the big elasticated panel you pull up over your bump are SOOOOOO much more effective at staying up (and comfy)than the ones with the elastic panels at the side which seem to slip down on me all the time.

They also don't give a bump where the button is when you wear a top over them.

xx
