Boy. For some reason though, I seem to think all scan photos look like they would be boys (convinced my own is a boy!), so I would presume I'm wrong 50% of the time!

Yes, it's supposed to be up for a boy, down for a girl.

I had my 12 week scan today for my twins. One had a very clear 'up' like yours, the other wasn't as clear but I think it was down so I suspect a boy and a girl for me. You must come back when you find out for sure and let us know!

So they confirmed an 'uppy' was the boy?

No, the sonographers won't comment on sex until 18 weeks at least so it's just my opinion.

I didn't even realise it was an uppy, but actually when you zoom in you can see something can't you. Although I guess it could be girl parts as apparently they all start off as girls bits and change later to become boys.
