It was quite cold so I went back to bed for 3 mins to warm up and left the test in the bathroom.

DP said, I will go and read it for you. He came back and said. Its negative, only 1 line. Well, actually there is a second one but its only faint.....................................

He says he has never seen me move so fast in my entire life. Went to the bathroom and there it was!! a faint positive.

So got a clear blue pregnancy test today and managed not to pee for 4 hours, did the test again, and it was a BFP!!!!!!!!!! Oh My GOD!!

p.s. the fact that I had two neurophen last night isn't going to have hurt it, is it?

I got a BFP on NYE 2004 and ds was born on 9th September 2005. Was most pleased he got past the 1st September school cut-off thing as he was due on the 3rd.

Oh and Congratulations of course!

Thank you all very much.

EdieMcredi my only symptom so far is that I have increadibly, painfully, sensitive breasts! - other than that nothing!

Oh yes, but i have got a heavy cold I can't take anything for, just to add to the fun!

ha! you see Angua, all it took was starting to plan that wedding

congrats, fab news.

AnguaVonUberwald · 01/01/2007 16:58

Thanks Foxinsocks and yes! It does seem that planning the wedding was all it took!

Now going round wondering if we should get married before the baby or afterwards!! I have to say am leaning towards before, I want the legal protection for both of us and the baby just in case!

I can only speak from my experience - we got married after I had dd (quicky job in the registry office). I hadn't lost all the baby weight, was knackered and could only fit in drawstring trousers (but was still beaming in the photos!). To be fair, I didn't know dh well enough to marry him before I'd had dd!

I would go for whatever you want for the timing. The middle pregnancy months are probably the easiest but any way you do it, you'll DEFINITELY have more time to plan it now than if you put it off and try and plan it when you have a newborn!

Very good point. Will start looking for maternity wedding dress!! - at least we found out this weekend, I had found a dress I liked, but it is one that definitly won't fit at 5 months!!
