Blooming Second Trimester

I thought the second trimester was supposed to see you full of beans, thriving and all a-glow with energy and zip.

I'm still so very tired all the time. Is this normal?

I should be glad I'm not being sick anymore, I guess.

I also feel like I'm carrying an enormous baby (DC2) at 25 weeks with my ribs being booted at all times of the day and night.

Sigh. I was just hoping for a bit of respite from the exhaustion.

At 35 weeks+ I am still waiting for the blooming stage .!!! I remember starting a post about the same subject myself around 10 weeks ago, my mw was quite concerned I felt so down and fed up with such a time left!!!!

BUT given the fact I am running around 24/7 aftre a 19 month old I suppose the haggard look and knackered feeling is here to stay for the time being anyway!!! Can't wait till baby is here so I can get back to myself..!!!!

BTW I have felt like I have been carrying an elephant since day one..!!!!

You have my sympathies. Get some chocolate and have a good cry..usually works for me . xx

The blooming thing is just a cruel lie I tink.

Winky - I'm 31 weeks, and feel better than I have for the entire pregnancy!

More energy, no nausea (to speak of) and good skin.

I felt like crap in the 2nd trimester too. You are not alone.
