Too early for movement?

Hi,
I was trying to get to sleep when I felt a weird sensation in my stomach (I say stomach but it was low down) that felt like when your stomach flips on a roller coaster. I wondered if it was the baby and a quick google revealed other people saying that's what it feels like.

My question is, I'm 13+2 with my first, is it too early for that to have been the baby? Thanks. Smile

Sounds very early for a first baby, but that's not to say it's impossible.

I'm sure I felt a single kick in the 12th week. Didn't get more movement til closer to 20 weeks.

Totally possible. I've felt movement very early with some pregnancies. Later with others.

Quodlibet · 22/02/2016 04:37

Totally possible. I had movement from 11 wks this pregnancy (2nd).

Could definitely be baby. I have felt light flutters from 11 weeks and this is my first. Kept putting it off as gas of course until they started happening every day.

Could be, I'm 13+2 and I swear baby head butted me yesterday Confused

I felt movement at 14 weeks, took until 17 weeks to realise that's what it was though!

TOTALLY POSSIBLE.

I felt my first movements at 13 weeks (first baby) it was lovely! Totally possible. Only little flutters then by 16 weeks it felt a bit stronger.

PickledLilly · 22/02/2016 14:30

It's possible! I felt movement at about 14 weeks with my first but I swear I can feel movement a lot earlier this time. I keep thinking I must be imagining it but I seem to be imagining it an awful lot.

I'm 13 weeks with my second baby (3rd pregnancy) and am starting to feel what I think are the early signs of movement from what I can remember anyway. I don't think I felt actual kicks until 20 weeks with ds but looking back I started to notice some twitches and bubbles at maybe 17/18 weeks.

Liss85 · 22/02/2016 22:07

Thanks for all your input :) I think it would probably be a bit early in my first pregnancy if it were kicks and stuff but I thought since we know they move around in there at this point that I might feel it. Glad to know I'm not just crazy! Thanks everyone.

My first movements were like fluttering of butterflies in my 16 week.
Everything is rearranging itself though so enjoy!
