Hi all, this is my second pg and I don't remember feeling this naseous last time. I've not actually been sick but everything just turns my stomach and I just want to curl up and die! I've tried eating plain food, sipping water, sea bands... I know I shouldn't complain as its a normal thing but I just feel like I'll never ever want to eat again! Wondering whether to go and see doc but then again I don't really want to go on meds if I it'll go in 3 weeks! Any advice? Thanks x

I am around 8 weeks and feeling awful too! Not being sick often bust constant nausea unless i eat anything. Exhausted sat at my desk at work. And bloating - OH asked me if i was supposed to be showing yet! And all the smells are wrong- make some food one minute and the next i couldn't imagine actually eating it. Its my first pregnancy and we want to see the midwife before we tell anybody so not even my mum knows- i would love to be able to have someone to talk to who has been through it to tell me im normal!

Me too! I'm 7+5 and have been feeling constantly nauseous for the past three weeks. Add in exhaustion the likes of which I've never known, the sorest nipples known to man, weepy tearfulness and bloating like a whale and I'm starting to wonder if it's all worth it. I mean, I'm so happy to be pregnant (I'm 36 and it's my first, I'd started to worry that the right time may never arrive), and I'm excited for the future - but MAN I feel absolutely awful.

It's so reassuring that this is the 'norm', I wish every one of you a speedy first trimester and some beautiful, blooming, normality soon!

yep me, im dying. i can eat, and not actually vomming, but just feel like i have a hangover all the time...and heartburn, and itching from dry stretched skin, and horrendous bloating and water retention, and gross spots... i look like a junkie, and an attractive itchy crotch area due to the fact that despite never having a problem shaving down there in my life, my skin can now not tolerate it, and really tired, but not sleeping well. i also had a haircut and hate it. blaaaa. I can't function well doing my job and feel like I now hate my job more than anything. i think i might need to just hide for the next 7 months, then appear when glorious with baby and all thin...oh wait... lets make that hide for the next 3 years!!!! im a right grumpy mother trucker.

Yep feeling the same, just add depression into that triggered by feeling so rubbish and thinking will this ever end. I know it sounds bad and I am not talking about the pregnancy, it took a lot for us to get here but I never felt this rough with our first, that was 15years ago and I am 34 now. Is it age? God knows at this point! Hope you get relief soon xx

I feel all of your pain! I am 9w3d and had to completely bail from life (not just work) on Monday and Tuesday. I just could no longer function, the sickness, nausea and tiredness reached a point of no return. After sleeping almost solidly for 48 hours I'm feeling a little better but the nausea is relentless.

Stupidly I tried to clean the fridge this morning as the smell was making me retch. I ended up hugging the toilet essentially hyperventilating. What a stupid idea that was!

I've had to tell work as they wanted me to help with Covid testing and I couldn't face that risk if I didn't need to. It helps when your boss knows and is sympathic! He's been making up excuses for me if I don't make it to 9am meetings.

I really want to feel myself again and right now don't know how I can face another pregnancy again if it's like this. Why does no one tell you it's so bad? I feel like I've been lied to over the years!
