Found out yesterday that I am pregnant but had a tiny amount of spotting 2 days ago, it was just a smear of redish blood. Should I worry? Had no bleeding since

it is terribly common in early pregnancy, and not always a sign of impending miscarriage.......if there is more bleeding and pain and in particualr , sharp one sided pain, get it checked out...if it hasn't continued and there is no pain, should be ok....brown blood is old blood, whereas bright red is new blood....keep an eye on things and get to docs if a lot of bleeding and pain . and of course, you will worry, goes with the territory

More worried because I took the Morning After Pill and it failed and apparently (according to the leaflet I was given) it can cause ectopic pregnancies.

i see.......brown spotting, one sided pain and shoulder tip pain on the same side can be signs of ectopic..if you are all concerned, get to docs or see if you can get referred to EPU for a scan to ensure pregnancy implanted in the uterus x

always go to docs if you are in doubt or if your instincts tell you to x

it was a tiny tiny amount, much less than when I bleed with DS.

sparkly.. if you are worried , get checked out. you are going to be more anxious esp, re MAP & a previous miscarriage.
