Getting a personalised blanket before baby is born

What's everyone's thoughts on this? I'm having a girl (confirmed by 3 different scans lol) I have decided to call her Nala. My partner loves this name and so do I. I am so so sure on it. I was sure on my sons name by this stage as well.

When I had my son my mum brought me a lovely blanket with his name date of birth and weight on. I want to get this baby a blanket with just her name on to have at the hospital.

Would/have you get a personalised blanket before the babies born?

Yeah I got one with ds's name embroidered on it. Was so exciting to see his little name all official on a blanket before he arrived. of course he hates the bloody thing though, prefers to snuggle with a ratty weird looking soft toy

As long as you're absolutely sure she won't arrive and you'll think 'aahhhhh lovely Nala....actually, she doesn't look like a Nala' then go for it.
