Induction. Had my first lot of gel!

After a long and hard pregnancy I was started off at 9.30pm tonight. I'm scared and excited at the same time. Hoping it goes quicker than last time!

Woo hoo, exciting! Fingers crossed for you. Though by now hopefully you have a lovely baby in your arms.

Good luck. My second birth was a gel induction. It was a wonderful birth, fast once it started but pretty fab.

My first induction was a gel induction. 2nd was a tablet pessary. Should find out what my 3rd will be in the next 3 weeks as I'm 37 weeks on Saturday and being induced at some point in week 39

I can't really say if induced labour is faster as I don't know spontaneous labour but I had quick, easy deliveries each time. Fingers crossed same for you.

He arrived at 5 pm. 9lb 9 oz! I am 37 weeks so he's pretty big! Needed episiotomy as he got a bit distressed but apart from that just codeine and gas and air. Glad it's all over.
