Having done a lot of googling, I can't seem to find something that 'fits' my hip pain.
I'm 34 weeks and about 2 weeks ago my right hip started giving out. I'm struggling to walk after about 10-15 minutes from backache and have been since about 30 weeks, but now my right hip's joining in.
I get like a twinge/shooting pain just in what feels like the ball of my hip, and makes my right leg unusable. After a few minutes it will pass and I can generally walk again, but as the day goes on, the frequency and 'recovery' time increases. My standard walking speed has slowed to snail's pace.
I also get the pain sitting and laying down, and when the baby kicks (breech) if it kicks me in the hip, it causes this same shooting pain.
The midwife suggested sciatica, but does that pain not travel down the affected leg?
Any ideas and best tips for easing the pain?
