Hi all. I'm pregnant for the 1st time and EVERYTHING worries me. Can some of you more experienced mummies give me some advice.

I have been fine untill now I am having some period like cramping feelings. They're more of a dull ache and annoying than really painful. Should I be worried and call midwife or is it normal and just see how I go?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thankyou ladies Flowers

Am 19 weeks today and have had the same thing all week.

My midwife said if its not hurting then its normal and probably to do with the weight of the uterus on that area.

It is most likely to be your uterus stretching out to accommodate baby. If you're worried though, phone the midwives. They'd always rather you phone them than not! Flowers

I had this. They got very painful. They checked me for early labour, negative. Call them if you're unsure or they get worse.
