Sorry - moany post I'm afraid. Have posted this on my usual Ante-Natal thread but it is very quiet this morning and I could really do with some advice (and have just reposted as forgot title!!!!!! Bloody hell).

Am 37 weeks on Sun and feel so ill (have done for the past week). So many people keep saying it could be pre-labour but I don't want to get my hopes up so thought I would ask your opinions.

Feel really pre-menstrual, nauseous, bowel cramps (like diahorrea but not getting any), generally feel really really teary, getting loads of BHs and twinges.

I know that no one can say for definate but I just didn't expect to feel this way at this point. I feel like I am living on tenterhooks wondering whether anything will happen.

MW said on Weds I was 1/5 engaged (well, 4/5 in relation to brim which amounts to same thing) so could I go into labour or is baby still to high????

Woke up suddenly last night at 1am feeling REALLY sick so got out of bed and paced in the bathroom for 10 mins, took some Rennies and it went away. Really annoyed with DH though as at night, he is totally disinterested and just sleeps through everything - he has done this on a couple of occasions when, TBH, I could have done with him awake with me.

Sorry to moan. Any opinions/advice gratefully recieved.

no advice but loads of sympathy. Felt like this with DS2 for a couple of weeks before he was born. I think you just have to ride it - try and get as much rest as you can.

Hang in there - not long to go

Honey... as I'm sure Luladoula will have said on your other thread... it's all natural. I'm sorry you feel so yucky, but remember this. Your insides are slowly clearing out so that your baby can be born. The BH etc are all working towards your baby's exit. Your uterus is stretching up so that your baby can move down and out.

Whilst it feels awful and yucky... good things are happening. Rest as much as you can, but (conversely) live as normally as you can.

Much love.

Thank you - just fed up with feeling so YUCK. Thought I would feel uncomfy but not so queasy. It's almost like my morning sickness has come back.

Don't think it helps that I am only 5'1" either so everything is really really squashed inside.

Hi,

Don't worry. I'm only 5.1" and I know how you feel - a concrete balloon! Have done it twice now and felt same both times. Carry on taking rennies, and get as much sleep as you can. That's the only advice I can give really. Keep as comfortable as you can. Not easy I'm afraid. xx Chin up - not long now
