11 weeks pregnant and have the odd sicky day. Sore boobs still from the day i found out. Apart from that really fine, apart from having this niggling thought at my first scan in 3 weeks that i will go and nothing will show up. Is this normal to worry about this.

Totally normal! I'm sure all will be fine though. The first scan takes an utter eternity to come round though doesn't it??

Yes. Seems like ive been waiting ages. My other half away back t work for 2 weeks then scan is day after he comes home. So hopefully will fly in.

Get a good book to lose yourself in. I devoured the Jenny Colgan books while I was waiting. Now at 20 weeks, I still need another 20 weeks worth of reading material!!

Totally normal! I dreamt every night that when I went for the scan that it would be empty in there, and I felt sick and dizzy every day. The waiting is an age, but the first scan is so exciting.

I'm 11 weeks too and can't believe how long the wait to the 12 week scan has seemed. This is despite having a scan at 8 weeks because we had IVF and seeing a perfect baby for dates in there. I'm terrified that it has stopped growing since then as I've had very few symptoms but I have seen countless tales on the internet of women with similar worries who had perfect 12 week scans.

One thing that struck me about your OP is that if you have 3 more weeks to wait that means your scan won't be till 14 weeks? I think that could be verging on a little late for the combined test and nuchal translucency scan if you want to have those - have you discussed this with your midwife?

I'm 11 weeks too I could feel my bump starting from about 8 weeks its now fits in the palm of my hand I'm sick, shattered, constipated sore boobs and still keep worrying there will be nothing there! My scan is at 13+2 i can't wait.
