But only on the left side?

and realllly really hard?

It feels bruised!

(I'd also like to know why I can't just have this baby now but I suspect none of you can answer that!)

I vagully remember having that with Ds, never figured out what it was though and then it just went.

LadyTophamHatt · 27/12/2006 21:19

ICE

Chrsit almighty Nutty....are you mad??

I can just imagine Dh coming out to make a cuppa and finding me sitting here, feet perched on the computer desk, legs akimbo, with an ice cube on my quim!

LOLOL

besides, we haven't got any ice and I'm not sure I'd ever able to eat a frozen pea again if I used them

nutcracker · 27/12/2006 21:24

Rofl, I didn't mean an ice cube, i meant an ice pack, you know pack of peas wrapped up and placed in that general direction.

nutcracker · 27/12/2006 21:25

Rofl again, i missed the bit about peas...sorry lol.

Nemo, MW said baby no-where near engaged so it's not that.

It's so wierd, it's just the...er....ummm...fleshy bit of my fanjo. The left..........lip!

Would that be SPD?
I can't imagine it is!!

And I'n quite sure no-one has kicked me there in recent weeks!!

no, it's not that either.

God, this whole PG has been one long ache or pain.

I could sit here and cry at the thought of it still lasting another 2 weeks.

I wonder if the baby is pressing on a nerve somewhere that is connected to your (ahem) left fanjo lip? I seem to remember getting aches and pains in really bizarre places at this stage with ds.

cyrilthefestivesquirrel · 27/12/2006 21:58

yes, does sound like varicose veins from the baby's weight.

Painful. Poor you

LadyTophamHatt · 27/12/2006 22:02

could it be a varicose vein without it being visable?

Actually TBH, I haven't looked because it's impossible to see even with a mirror. I cant bend forward far enough to get angle right to see it IYKWIM. I can't feel anything there though....

lulumama · 27/12/2006 22:04

could be a vulval varicosity...try a thick sanitary pad in your knickers for support...
