finding ot sex, anyone had it put in an envelope?

Before people start with surely a healthy baby is what's important! YES of course a healthy baby is most important to me so comments like that are not needed here

I have my 20 week scan in a few weeks (it will actually be 21 weeks) and DH and I would love to find out babys sex from a gender reveal cake (this is our 1st and we're making a fuss with everything).
Just wondering if anyone has done this. Will the sonographer be happy to write sex down and put it into an envelope for us? And information would be gratefully received

Trying to remember how we used to do a gender reveal in the olden days ...

Call me old fashioned but surely the loveliest way of finding out is at the birth itself?

WhatKatydidnt we are finding out so we can tell the bump's big brother who the baby is. We are not sure if we want to take the info away or just find out there and then, assuming the baby plays along.
