I'm interested to hear other people's experiences when you found out you were pregnant. I'm 4 weeks today found out on Weds when I was only 10 dpo so very early days.

Called doctors on Friday to find out next step they said I will need to book in with midwife between 8-10 weeks. That you don't see the doctor.

I didn't question it at the time but now I've thought about it surely it's important to see someone before then so they can tell you about supplements Eg folic acid etc. As it happens I've been taking a prenatal vitamin for the last 6 months but if I didn't know to take one in the early days and they don't book you in until 8-10 weeks who tells you this stuff?

Interested to hear what you were told and who you saw etc.

Thanks for all your replies ladies, I've got an appointment with the midwife on 10th March when I'll be 8 weeks it feels like forever away!

The last couple of days I was worried it wasn't really real as I've had a few symptoms but as we aren't telling anyone yet it just all feels a bit odd! So I did a clear blue digital test yesterday which says how many weeks you are which came up as 2-3

Oops sorry pressed post too soon! 2-3 weeks which does tally up with my dates as I ovulated on 24th Jan.

I don't know I just feel like its all not real or something is going to happen to take it away, I don't think I'll feel right until I've seen a scan, is this normal?

My oh is like, you've got nothing to worry about, the appointment is only 2 weeks away but that feels like a long time to me! He's only trying to help I know, just sometimes wish he would just agree with me😂

Symptoms I've got so far, tummy is bigger, boobs are bigger and very sore, waves of dizziness and some nausea (no throwing up though)

Is this all normal for this length of time 4 weeks and 5 days? I know I'm probably over analysing it all but I can't help it and as I'm not telling anyone yet it feels good to get it out here!
