Did anyone else feel like shit after the whooping cough vaccine? Or have I just got the lurgy in an unfortunate coincidence?

Ah... just seen this thread resurrected from Feb so not much use to OP now... Never mind.

That info on no increased risk is from the nhs website
I've asked hcp and non give a direct answer or reassurance
Haven't even been offered it but had to ask if they re still doing it :/
The rates of wc have dropped again now so risk is less
Is this due to the vaccine or natural peaks and troughs of the disease??

You resurrected the thread spandau very good, move along now. This isn't the place for it.

I've had the flu jabs and whooping cough jabs for two pregnancies now.

Once I got a bad cold after one if the flu jabs, coincidence.

I mostly got a bit of a sore arm but considering what I was protecting my baby and myself from I don't see that as a big deal.

Plus I figured I wanted my children immunised after they were born to stop them dying from preventable diseases anyway.

I'd be a bit of a wimp if I couldn't get two little jabs for their benefit Grin
