Has anyone else experienced having a sore belly button? Or is this normal? It's been sore for two days now, from what I can see in the mirror it doesn't look red. I'm 39+4 with my first.

It's probably the stretching, mine was sore at the end, fine afterwards though.

Remember it vividly and my youngest is nearly 6!! Felt like it was on fire sometimes but never red. I used to rub lotion in I think I used e45 cream to ease it. Definitely the stretching.

I has this around 34 weeks - midwife didn't seem too fussed. Mine hurt when I pressed it like a bruise! It only lasted 1-2 weeks though.

Yes, mine was sore for a bit then went numb. I think it's the skin stretching. It goes back to normal once you've given birth.

I have a sharp pain in my belly button for two days now and af should arrive in next two days. What do you think? No other symptoms. Just sharp pain.
