Hi all,

Wondering if anyone experienced similar and things came good?

I had an early miscarriage at 5 weeks a couple of months ago. Never felt any symptoms.

Now I'm four weeks pregnant, two extremely faint positive tests and a 'pregnant 1-2 weeks' on a clear blue digital. But I've gone from sore boobs, headaches, racing heart beat at the start to absolutely zero symptoms this past week.

I just don't feel pregnant anymore. No bleeding though.

I was lucky to have two DDs when I was 33 and 36. I turn 40 in a few months and I'm feeling like it is going to be very difficult this time around with another miscarriage on the way. Sad

When I was pregnanct my symptoms would come and go, I barely had any to begin with. I only had tiredness up until 7 weeks and then got sore boobs, which would be agony one week and pain free the next. Every pregnancy is different, I'm really sorry about your previous miscarriage, the only thing I can advise is to see if you can get a private reassurance scan at around 7-8 weeks.

Thanks Dixiechick. Here's hoping they return soon! I really feel for those who go through multiple mcs. Dr Google doesn't help either!

My sister used to say to me "but what does pregnant feel like?" when I said this to her. My symptoms came and went and tbh until 7 weeks I didn't really have any symptoms. Immediately after I found out I felt sick for a few days but I'm pretty sure that was in my head because I knew I was pregnant. Try not to worry and maybe book a scan like Dixie has suggested. I had one and it really put my mind at rest.

Champagneformyrealfriends · 03/02/2016 11:23

Oh and don't google!! Google was the cause of major anxiety for me.

ChefsFloozie · 03/02/2016 12:11

I was slightly different to you in that I didn't feel pregnant at all til about 6 weeks. Had just over a week of feeling awful and then back to not feeling pregnant again. Even now at 23+6 I'm not really feeling it as it were. I must be horrible to go through but deffo not an indicator that something isn't right x

mrslebon · 03/02/2016 12:14

I've never had any symptoms (no sickness, tiredness, sore boobs, nothing) and I'm currently 35 weeks (aged 44)!

Shortninbread · 03/02/2016 13:20

Reassuring, thanks! Mrslebon and floozie, do you remember if your home preg tests were strong at the start?

OP posts:
ChefsFloozie · 03/02/2016 13:52

Mine was fairly strong but was 20 days post ovulation and only took a test as my hubby said I was super hormonal. Lack of symptoms not always helpful as by then we had spent an entire day at Thorpe park and got horribly drunk at the rugby!!

mrslebon · 03/02/2016 14:56

I did my home preg test the day my period was due (actually, I think I was probably 2 or 3 days late), so yes the result was strong. Your ClearBlue digital test result sounds pretty compelling though?

mrslebon · 03/02/2016 14:58

Forgot to add, this is my 2nd pregnancy and I didn't have any symptoms the first time either. He's 4 now!

Shortninbread · 03/02/2016 15:07

Ha! A last hurrah floozie.

Yes clear blue was good Mrslebon. Just the others need a magnifying glass to see. So faint anyone else would say negative. My last two pregs were clear results by now. Anyway I'll try to stop obsessing. I'm keeping boots in profit with my test buying.

I had no symptoms at all until about 6 weeks and then they came and went. One day I would feel rotten because of morning sickness and the next I would feel worse because the symptoms had gone and I was sure I would miscarry. I didn't and all was fine. I think what you are feeling is very normal, especially in the early stages.

Thenightswatch · 03/02/2016 15:58

I've never really had any symptoms with my pregnancies in the beginning, I was further on then the extreme tiredness set in, and strange food aversions! Try not to worry too much op Smile

Shortninbread · 05/02/2016 13:24

AF just started. Oh well. Thankful it was sooner than later. That's two MCs in a row and nearing 40. Hoping it's not a new pattern. Onward and upward. Smile

Oh I'm really sorry to hear that, hope you're ok Thanks

keys27 · 05/02/2016 19:51

I've had 3 miscarriages all with symptoms right up to bleed. I am now 12 weeks pregnant and my symptoms have been on and off. They say your hormones double every other day or every 3 days so say on day 1 you feel awful because the hormones are so active then day two you feel a little better as there levelling out then day 3 your body is getting really used to the feeling. Then bang day 3/4 again the hormones decide to double so your properly start feeling symptoms again.
Everybody pregnancies are different so many people get through with no symptoms at all. My SIL is 8 weeks and all she has is tiredness no sore boobs no sickness or headaches. Me on the other hand when they are there I have constant nausea sore boobs and extreme tiredness so just goes to show you how much it can vary in person to person.
My symptoms are definitely fading now I am hoping like you everything is ok. The first trimester is awful for worry especially after experiencing a loss.
I wish you all the best in your pregnancy stay positive no cramping or bleeding means there's a high chance baby is just fine xx

keys27 · 05/02/2016 19:52
