12 weeks pregnant.... movement from both sides.....

So i am 12+1 today.

For the past 2 weeks i have had movement/ small kicks from both sides of my belly.

I had an emergency doctors appt this past saturday- No scan equipment was available- but had a doctor check me and she said either my dates are incorrect and which case i am further along in my pregnancy or there maybe 2 babies present.

She said i am measuring 15 weeks and my uterus is v high.

This is my 3rd pregnancy.

Anyone else similar situation?

Scan is this coming thursday (4th Feb)

Hello, I showed very early, I felt bubbles at around 13 weeks. I learnt this was quickening and if your slim with first you can have this but more likely women feel this early with 2/3 pregnancies.

As I was showing early I looked into this a bit and saw photos of ladies who had twins, they were larger than me at the same weekage. I figured I didn't have twins, when I went for my scan at 12 +2, they said I was 1 week further along and with singlet baby.

If you are sure of the dates, I would guess at twins :)

I should add when I felt kicks they were on one side. I have movement at both now but I'm 19 wks. All the best with your pregnancy x

Are the movements on both sides happening at the same time? Good luck for Thursday. :)

Hey, i have had regular periods, never been any different. I have had more movement on one side - BUT at similar times during the day (more in evening), i get kicks with seconds of each other on both opposite sides! My partner looks at me like eeeeek!! They are already making me wince and jump, as they are that strong.

My mother is coming along to my scan, as she said she cannot miss this for the world.

I guess i will just have to wait till thursday ladies!!

I felt my 2nd son around 14 week, but these were just bubbles if you understand what i mean.

This is full blown kicks! Even my stomach is moving infront of my very eyes.......

I'm 11 weeks this week and you are huge compared to me. I get that it's not your first baby but your bump is really defined iyswim. It's got to be either wrong dates or multiples surely!? Keep us updated of the outcome OP

My belly button popped at 8 weeks.....

Alot of people are saying i am way to big (even for 3rd baby) to show like i am....

Otherwise it has to be a long baby lol x

I felt mine move at 13 weeks and he kicked the midwife at 16 weeks. She was really surprised. Definitely only 1 in there. He is big though, he's measuring 4 weeks bigger than he should. I'm 34 weeks now and I look ready to pop! My dates are definite. Your bump does look big but it could just be a bigger baby. On the other hand it could be twins Grin

Your bump does look pretty well developed for 12 weeks.

If you're sure if your dates I'm putting my money on multiples :) How exciting.

My friend is having twins, at 14 weeks she looked like I did at 22 with my dd2

Hate to ask it as it's cliche, but are you sure it wasn't gas? I was convinced I was pregnant 4 months back as having exact baby kick feelings; wasn't pregnant then, so guess it was gas!

How exciting! I don't have anything helpful to share from my own experience (as I have a tilted back uterus, which means rubbish bump, and rubbish kicking/ movements) but I do wonder if maybe twins would explain your bump height, and the feelings on both sides! Please let us know how you get on!

I'm at 12 weeks and have no bump at all! That's a beautiful bump you have going on, let us know if its twins!

I'm swinging towards twins. Your bump is gorgeous and looks much further on than what you've been told. Have you felt OK in yourself? More tiredness or more nausea?

I have twins, first pregnancy and I struggled to hide my bump by 12 weeks. Didn't have any movements until way past 12 weeks but could of been because they were my first.

Exciting, twins are amazing.

After reading the rest of your post it sounds more like your dates are wrong and your further on than you thought if your having strong enough movements to feel and see from the outside.
