Hi everyone feel like I'm always on here asking questions, I'm 26+5 days pregnant I'm not really showing but midwife says I'm bigger than what I should be, I normally feel the baby's movement loads through out the day sometimes made me jump, but the past few days her movements have been reduced I have to really concentrate to feel them I don't know wether I should be worried ??

You should always ring your local Maternity Assessment Unit or Triage to discuss a change in movements.

The number should be on your notes.

Ring your midwife or the triage at your hospital. It's probably nothing but they might want you to come in for monitoring. I went 2 weeks ago
and everything was absolutely fine but better to put your own mind at rest.

Give the hospital a call, they'll be happy to have you go along to be checked. Don't spend the weekend wondering and worrying.

I will go the midwife centre in the morning, just make sure she's ok I can feel her move so she is ok, the pattern has just changed

I went on tuesday,i could still feel movement but not the same amount andnot the same regarding how hard i would get a boot! Went a day or 2 thinking and following every move and i just wasnt happy.
I called at the hospital and within 5mins of walking through the door this baby decided that would be the perfect time to show me the new escape plans.. i swear down i was expecting to see a foot through my ribs.
Midwives were fab,and found it more amusing that baby decided to wake up just then. But were all too happy to reassire me anyway amd put the ctg on. Turns out even though i could feel a bum swooshing with force across my tum and feet trying to make the great escape there was also movements i couldnt feel but could clealry see and hear on the monitor.
Midwives/hospital wont mind. Go get seen
They would rather you go and nothing be wrong than you hesitate and not go and something serious be wrong.
Flowers for you xx

Pregnancy doesn't half make you worry I'm normally happy with her movements but the last few days just feels like she hardly moves, but I'm sure she just likes to make me worry because this has happend before normally just half the day she doesn't move then kicks like mad when I get in bed but definitely going in the morning just for a little reassurance xx
