hi, just wondering if i can get some advice! I've been feeling a bit funny recently and i went through how i was feeling with my mum and she said they're pretty much identical to her pregnancy symptoms.. I've done 4 tests with in 3 days and I'm way over a month late!!! it looks like negative at first but then faint blue lines have appeared in the other box on both tests.... so I'm not sure what to think! anyone care to put my mind at ease?

Can you add a photo of the lines?

Inwaiting · 25/01/2016 23:00

Have you got any photos and how long did it take to appear

neverlander123 · 25/01/2016 23:04

i don't have any photos I'm afraid as i threw the test away... but it took about an hour to show up

Could be evaporation lines. I would retest tomorrow morning to make sure if I were you

neverlander123 · 25/01/2016 23:08

see i looked up about that.. and apparently eval lines are grey where there isn't any dye... but these lines a distinctively blue but just thinner and less bold

Yes I would retest too an hour seems a bit too long

I could be wrong but don't most tests develop the positive result once left for a prolonged period of time? Sure I read that on the box (good while ago to be fair though )

An hour is too long. Test again after AF is due

Get a pink dye test rather than a blue one; they're generally a bit more reliable and easy to read.

And if you can afford it- try a digital test. I got negative results with tesco brand tests. The same day the clear blue digital test was accurate as 6 weeks pregnant.

Agree with the others - get a pink dye test. Superdrug ones are good and not too expensive.
