Time window for 20 weeks scan

Anyone know the dates between which the 20 week scan can be done? We're having a bit of a holiday nightmare (see realtionships!) and I'm just trying to work out ways around it.

We're not having a nuchal or anything so I would prefer the scan to be done at the optimal time for seeing everything.

Jimjams...

In our area we are no longer offered scans at 20 weeks - they are routinely done at 23 weeks (not sure about the reason why), when I booked the scan they were happy to do it a week either side - which suggests to me that up to 24 weeks is acceptable.

We saw just as much on this scan as we did with DS so I don't think there is too much difference size wise.

I must say that I did worry that if there were any serious anomalies that 23 weeks was quite late to pick it up - but there must be method in this policy...

I had a 20 week and then because dd was so uncoperative another one at almost 22 weeks and then at Kings with our two cardiac scans - I had anomaly scans at 22 and about 26 weeks .... if that is any help.
