I am 31 weeks and have put on 2 stone. This seems like loads to me. I don't look "fat" and my arms/legs/face are pretty much the same. Where is all that weight??

AmyP don't worry. I'm 37 wks on Thursday and I've put on just over 3 stone and its all bump with a bit on my bum and thighs. MW said my weight gain was normal. Every woman is different.

Is that it? You are so lucky! With DD i put on 5 stone!!!! Was very disappointed after having her to only have lost a stone though! Am determined not to put on so much this time! Am 12 n a half weeks n have lost a stone yet gained a huge belly so not sure quite how that wrks!!!!

GoodKingWestCountryLass · 19/12/2006 22:02

I put on 4 stone with DS but I did think it was license to eat like a pig and it would all drop off in the delivery room

With DD I put on 1 stone as I limited myself to one treat per day and most of that came off when she was born and this time round I am 25 weeks and have put on 1/2 stone.

AmyP · 19/12/2006 22:07

Thanks for your messages, I it sounds like 2 stone is a fairly OK amount to have put on. Can I have that extra mince pie then?

2 stone - I'd put that on at about week 20 with both dd's - I eventually put on 4 stone with both of them! Mind you I did wee for England for a few weeks after the births!

With that weight gain you'll spring back into shape!
