lol I know it seems pretty trivial to what somepeople aregoing through!

I am 31 weeks pregnant (never made it this far before ds was born at 31 weeks) anddue to travel up to my mums on friday morning at 8am for xmas. Its a 200 mile trip, we will be making plenty of stops because im at risk of getting dvt(am also of heparin injections)

The hospital basically said they cant tell me not to go just warn me of the risks. They have given me my hospital notes to take with me and so far so good with this pregnancy, even my bp is stable!

The one thing that is reassurring me is the fact my mum lives 30 mins away from the hospital where DS was born and because we only moved a few months ago they still have my old maternity notes from then, so if something was to happen whilst Im away i should be ok?!

Would you go? I cant bare the thought of being away from my mum at xmas and I know i sound like a child!

It looks like you have some practical things taken care of and now all thats left is your emotions.. you poor thing... only you know how you can cope with that....lots of stops and keep off the motorways. Get a TOM TOM nav system...good luck. Are you driving? Hopefully not!
fwiw if you were flying you could travel upto the 33 week on return travel date with a doctors certifcate.
