Heavy feeling in right leg

I'm 25 weeks nearly and for the last 2 months I've had this weird heavy feeling in my right leg. It eases off more so at night time but it feels horrible especially at some points during the day. When I climb stairs I really notice it as well. Anyone had this? My doctor is baffled

Does it feel hot and cold? That sounds like sciatica.

I had this. Also varicose veins in the same leg. I figured it was just poor circulation because I'm getting on a bit (38 at the time). My doc didn't know what it was either.

Not really somebodysedateme. It's just this odd feeling like its heavy or weak. How long did yours last marzipants?

have you had it checked for an embolism?

Chloeisobelle21 · 11/01/2016 21:30

No, the doctor did some bloods and what not. It's been going on for ages now and if it was a blood clot the leg would be painful and hot, also swollen. Which it isn't

good that's ruled out . What about a support stocking?

Marzipants · 11/01/2016 23:52

Mine lasted pretty much until a couple of months before I had DD. Now I think about it, around when my mat leave started and sitting at a desk ended. The new varicose veins went when she was born.

It's so annoying. Makes me want to chop the silly thing off. I'm 25 weeks so I have a while to go yet. Can't seem to think of anything that could help. I think the more you focus on it the worse it feels

I've been getting a heavy limbs on and off since 12 weeksish. Mostly my arms for me - no swelling though and I just put it down to changes in fluid level and circulation that happens in pregnancy

Chloeisobelle21 · 12/01/2016 09:45

It's odd because my other leg isn't affected at all, and it's a very noticeable feeling. Almost feels like my leg might give way. It doesn't seem to be lessening after 2 months and it's there pretty much 24/7
Just starting to worry me a bit I guess. This pregnancy has definitely been harder this time around.
