Dr won't prescribe

Too poorly to go to GP this morning so had a telephone consultation re my sickness. 2 lots of drugs now not working so she's prescribed something else, can't remember the name, but it is to be taken at night as its a mild sedative.

I asked about ondanestron and she said she wouldn't prescribe it as only licenced for cancer patients. How do I get this drug that seems to work for so many of you?

I only got mine when I was admitted to hospital and every time my prescription runs out I have to go back to the hospital for a new one. There is however a helpline you can call which was recommended to me when I was struggling to get hold of mine. I can't remember what it is but if you ask this question on the hyperemesis thread someone on there will be able to point you in the right direction.
